First things first. When developing an online course it is critical that students be advised of the course expectations, and technical requirements. The navigation should be simple and the instructions clear.

Include items like your philosophy of teaching, your experience teaching online and your hobbies and interests.

Utilization of technology can enhance engagement, motivation and understanding of curricular objectives. All too often technology is placed in classrooms and educators are expected to know what to do with little to no training in its integration.
